Setup guide

Start mining in three fields.

Any Equihash (200,9) ASIC works. Enter the pool URL, your t-address and any password, save, and your machine appears on your dashboard within a minute or two.

Choose your scheme

Each scheme has its own ports. You can switch any time by changing the port in your miner.

Password x Anything. It is not checked.

Personalise the settings

SOLO endpoints

One host, several ports. Vardiff suits almost everyone; fixed ports exist for rental marketplaces and proxies.

Difficulty uses the standard Equihash pool scale, the same numbers other Zcash pools show.

Setup by machine

Antminer Z15, Z15 Pro and other Bitmain Equihash models

  1. Open the miner's IP address in a browser and sign in.
  2. Go to Miner Configuration (called Settings on newer firmware).
  3. Set the first pool's URL to stratum+tcp://stratum.zprominers.com:3333, the worker to t1YourAddress.rig01 and the password to x.
  4. Click Save & Apply. The miner restarts and starts submitting shares within a minute or two.

NiceHash and rental marketplaces

  1. Create a new pool entry and choose the Equihash (200,9) algorithm.
  2. Host stratum.zprominers.com, port 3337.
  3. Username t1YourAddress.rig01, password x.
  4. Fixed-difficulty ports keep the rental's share difficulty stable, which marketplaces prefer.

Any other stratum miner

  1. ZProMiners speaks standard Zcash stratum as described in ZIP 301.
  2. Use the URL, worker and password shown above.

Which address?

Use a transparent Zcash address that starts with t1 or t3, from a wallet whose keys you hold. The block reward is written to exactly this address.

Do not mine to an exchange deposit address. Some exchanges do not credit coinbase (block reward) deposits, and coins sent that way can be lost.

After 100 confirmations the reward is spendable. Zcash rules require coinbase funds to be shielded before they are spent, which your wallet's shield function does in one step.

Check that it works

A minute or two after your miner connects, its hashrate shows up on your address page. No shares after five minutes? Check the worker name for typos and that the port is reachable.
